Drum

The “Drum” tool is like the Grafcet. It offers a method for machines with logical and well established sequences.

The Drum on the right is equivalent to the Grafcet on the left

Imagine a machine that preheats a pad, then waits for the presence of a piece of wood, moves this piece under the pad, detects its presence and finally the pad hits the workpiece.
