How to Upgrade the HMI Firmware

 

Firmware is provided on demand. If your HMI is working without issues and you don’t need anything else, we suggest following the well-known English proverb:

” If it’s not broken, don’t repair it ”

With CommandHMI Software

with “Force update HMI” in the Download popup window

with a skapp file

Follow the steps in the screenshot, then select the SKAPP file.

 

With USB-Key

• Get a USB key (< 32 Go)
• Format it as “FAT (Default)” or “FAT32”.
  • 
• Copy the SKAPP file to it
• Eject the USB key by right-clicking on it and selecting “Eject”.
• Insert the USB key into the HMI and wait about 10 seconds.
• Follow HMI instructions
