Modbus and FC16 0x10 function code

 

A brief description of the use of the FC16 (x010) function with the HMI with Modbus protocol.

We use ModRSsim2 Simulator software and  for analyze the Modbus frame : https://rapidscada.net/modbus/

If you write (here 8* ASCII code 31=”1″) 4 registers at 4×14 (0E) with Slave ID 2, we use 0x10 FC16 function code

If only one register is written, we use FC6
