How to use an USB to RS232/RS485 adapter with the ACE-GTW-MB?

 

With WinSCP software https://winscp.net/eng/download.php

Connect to the ACE-GTW-MB

Open the file mbusd.conf

Comment with # the line:

• device = /dev/ttyACM0

add the line:

• device = /dev/ttyUSB0

Save and close.

Open again and check if configuration is right.

Restart the ACE-GTW-MB with the RS232/485 adapter connected to the USB port.

If you want to use again the ACE-GTW-MB with ACE PLC, return to the initial configuration in the mbusd.conf file.
